This review area buffer is created by applying a buffer distance around each landslide source layer and appending the buffers into a single layer, retaining the name of the source layer for each resulting buffer area. It is used to populate information in the Thurston County Permit Tracking System to alert County staff of nearby landslide features.<\/SPAN><\/P>

Original data sources are from Washington Geological Survey (Washington State Department of Natural Resources). The source layer for each review area and the Thurston County Municipal Code referenced to determine the appropriate buffer distance are listed in the feature attributes. <\/SPAN><\/P>

These data were produced to provide attribute and spatial information on landslides in Washington State. This data is non-regulatory and is intended for informational purposes.
