Description: Resolution No. 14998 established a scenic tour route within Thurston County to encourage tourism. It is known as the Thurston Bountiful Byway, The Agritourism Planning Committee, made up of several community partners including the Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater Visitor and Convention Burwau, Thurston County WSU Extension, the Thurston Regional Planning Council, and many more agencies, is encouraged to support efforts to implement and market the Thurston Bountiful Byway. The Thurston County Public Works Director is authorized to enter into contracts, as necessary, for the purchase and installation of signage and other equipment funded and supported by this resolution. The resolution was adopted on March 18, 2014.
